Mucosal Immunology and Microbiome
Research Summary
1. Gut Exposome Bioinformatics: The forefront of environmental and dietary exposure is the mucosal barrier and is a key recognition area of the mucosal immune system. Integrative analysis and prediction of interactions between the host mucosa and biochemical environments such as microbiota, dietary metabolites, and microbial toxins through the computational network science.
2. Mucosal Network: As a cellular sensor for mucosal environmental stress, ribosomes are a key cellular network sentinel in the integrated stress response (ISR). In particular, the ribosomal ISR network was identified in the informatics-based Adverse Outcome Pathway during the mucosal immune responses and diseases in response to microorganisms and chemical exposures in the mucosal barrier.
