Research Summary
The Lee Lab focuses on blood and stem cells. Our aims are to discern stem cells regulation for the cures of blood cancer. We are broadly interested in regenerative biology and stem cell biology, with a particular focus on translational medicine. Our goals are to define stem cell regulation and blood disease and how we can utilize information to develop novel therapies. Especially, we are aiming for characterization of functions of a novel gene in normal hematopoiesis and hematological malignancy. Our research is aimed at identifying targets which can be used as clinical advances. We will put expertise and insights in biomedical research to answer to biologically important and meaningful questions.
